Letter from the President:

Welcome to all new and returning BCHSRA members and their families.

The 2017/2018 rodeo season is just around the corner and like the rest of you I am excited. I feel that this is going to be the best season ever for everyone where personal bests are going to be achieved.

I encourage everyone to freshen up on their rule books and if there is anything you don’t understand or need any clarification on please don’t hesitate to ask anyone of the board members. We have a great board and we’re all here to help. I would also like to mention to please use our website for all updates, news, and information as Facebook is not BCHSRA’s main source of communication. Let’s have fun and reach our goals.

Good luck to everyone, be safe and remember be a leader not a follower.

Your President
BJ Rohloff

Letter from BC High School Secretary:

Hello all and welcome to the 2017/2018 rodeo season!!

On behalf of the HSR of BC board of Directors, I’d like to welcome all the new and returning members and wish you all the best of luck for the upcoming season.

Some quick notes for you,

Unfortunately, Alana Weaver has decided to step down from the board this year, she was an amazing asset to the team and we will miss having her expertise to help out in all areas and duties that she carried out.

Please do reach out to myself as the new secretary or to anyone else on the current board for any questions you may have, all info can be found on the website.

Students-

If you were thinking that you would like to be an event rep this year, please let us know and we can give you the details of what the job entails.  At the first fall rodeo, we will be having a mandatory meeting and delegating the reps at that time.

Adults-

We are also looking for some adult event reps to help out the students at the rodeos as well, for this, please remember that you must have an associate membership to come in the arena and be in full western attire.

The associate membership is for insurance purposes and mandatory for anyone who is not a student member to enter the arena for any reason.

Memberships-

Get your memberships in now to ensure that your points from the fall rodeos will count to your season points.

Cinch Team-

I will be sending out the forms to the 2017/2018 Team members soon! They need to be returned back to me (secretary) by Sept 20.   And you must also have your membership in by Sept 15 to qualify, also, please keep in mind that there is a list of qualifications that goes off of last years Finals performance and cannot have been in your senior year of junior or senior.

Please remember to check the website often as it is our main source of communication and not social media and do direct any questions towards the board members, contact info can be found on the website under the director’s page.

Happy trails everyone and we will see you down the road!
