CONGRATULATIONS to all the qualifiers for the 2020-2021 Junior High Provincial Finals!
The HSR of BC Board of Directors has made a Special Resolution with regard to the Junior High Division Provincial Finals for this unprecedented season and because we have a small Junior Membership so none of the events are full. These changes will be for the current season only and are as follows:
The 2020-2021 Junior High Provincial Finals will be open to all active HSR of BC/NHSRA Junior members in all of their events for the 2020-2021 Finals only. New members can opt to enter the Provincial Finals and be eligible for all Finals Awards. If they enter, there will be no Membership refund issued. They also understand that by entering, they will forfeit their opportunity to win 2021-2022 BC Rookie of the Year. New Members opting out of entering the Provincial Finals, and who have NOT competed in a Regional Rodeo in the 2020-2021 Season may request a refund of their Membership fees.
* Requests for refunds must be received via email to treasurerhsraofbc@gmail.com no later than June 30, 2021. This will be the only communication accepted, do not text or message.*
We want to be clear that there will be strict COVID-19 protocols in place, including, first and foremost – NO SPECTATORS! The full COVID plan is being updated for approval from Northern Health and will be shared with you prior to the rodeo. Everyone will be expected to follow the plan to the letter or you will be asked to leave so please DO NOT put the Association in that position.
Entry fees are $50/event, there are NO admin fees. Details for camping and stalling will follow as soon we have it all sorted out. Entries will open on the bchsra.ca Rodeo Management System next week, and the call-in information will be provided there as well. We will give Denise a day or two to get all the information gathered up and posted on Rodeo Management.
E-TRANSFER fees to treasurerhsraofbc@gmail.com include your name and the events you are entering in the notes. Payout for the three go-rounds will be done via e-transfer during the week following Finals.

We will be doing Canadians paperwork following the final go round on Sunday. You will be required to pay Canadians fees at that time should be qualified.
NJHFR June 20-26 – Des Moines, Iowa
Nationals Qualifiers will be the Top 2 from North Region and Top 2 from South Region in each event, roll ups down to 8th place.
CHSFR August 6-8 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan
Canadians Qualifiers will be the Top 5 placing in each event, roll ups down the 10th place.
ATTENTION FAMILIES WITH PLANS TO ATTEND NATIONALS:
If you have any serious intention of going to Des Moines – I need a confirmed answer NO LATER than Monday, May 31, 2021. There is paper work that will need to be forwarded to you, some of which requires a commissioner or notary to witness. You will be taking you chances on being allowed to cross into the United States, we will not be any part of that process, nor will there be any refunds issued if you cannot get across the border.
